Cozy and Intimate Thanksgiving Table Decor
Thanksgiving is a season to give thanks. While we should be doing this all year around, we tend to focus on it more this time of year. Now, for fear of jumping the gun and sharing all Christmas all the time, I wanted to share one of my favorite things to do….style a table. I want to share my Thanksgiving table decor this year.
And this year, I have centered my entire Thanksgiving table decor around my “new” wood candle holder. I created this a while ago, but just post its tutorial yesterday! Its been something I have been wanting to make for a long time, and discovered a big pile of forgotten beams in my backyard when we were cleaning out the area for our chicken coop. I was thrilled to come across this goldmine!
And I am in love with how it looks on my table! The glow of the candlelight is so entrancing! So, let’s share how I created this simple, cozy and intimate thanksgiving tablescape.

It all started with this DIY wooden candlestick holder that I made a couple weeks ago. It became the centerpiece for the table. I wanted to create Thanksgiving table decor that was intimate and cozy. With the glow of the candles, I want to be able to highlight the carefully chosen items that I added to the table.
Another item that really inspired my Thanksgiving tablescape this year was these amber inspired glasses I got recently. I have been on the search for some vintage inspired cups and I instantly fell in love with them! Aren’t they gorgeous? That glow of the candlelight against these glasses is stunning.
I wanted to create a space that felt inviting and encouraged others to sit and stay a while. It needed to feel like a place that you want to stay.
All I could see when I was putting this Thanksgiving tablescape together was the warm glow and ambiance that they candles would emit. I wanted to play off of that.
Next to add more candles using some really cool vintage looking root beer bottles I have been saving for just the perfect project. More candles equal more coziness.
The next step, once the candles were all set, is to add some simple fall inspired accessories. Simple white pumpkins, some bleached pinecones, and a couple pears made the perfect compliment to the table.
The serving situation is also very simple. I love using my seagrass chargers with their natural texture. They are the perfect backdrop to my white plates. I topped the plates with a sprig of Rosemary from my indoor herb garden.
I added some simple hand made striped napkins in between the chargers and plates to add a bit of softness. But really, can we just talk about the glow?
I am totally obsessed with so many things here. The glasses, with their simple and delicate design, and that color! My new-ish candle holder and its glowing presence. Its exactly how I want Thanksgiving to feel!
