Scandinavian Inspired Christmas Gift Wrapping Ideas
Hey friends! It has been a week! Between my Instagram account being hacked and trying to get ready for Christmas I will tell you, I am looking forward to a break! Ugh, I am mentally exhausted. But, I am actually still excited to be here today to share some simple Scandinavian inspired Christmas gift wrapping ideas. And I am not alone! I will be sharing mine with a ton of amazing bloggers. Make sure to check out their posts at the end of mine!
I have been on a huge kick of keeping things simple this year. And that is making its way into my present wrapping as well! With all the money we spend at Christmas, I tend to hate buying wrapping paper. Haha!
Really though, it is the last thing I want to buy. But, I have had this large roll of craft paper that I have been using for about 5 years! I cannot believe it has lasted that long. it was quite a big roll!
So, today I want to share some of my favorite ways to wrap my presents without having to spend a ton of money, or really any money at all! Plus, I am going to be offering some free printable gift tags as well, so you can make them even cuter!
My favorite way to wrap presents for Christmas is to get a little bit of Scandinavian inspiration. I love using simple elements such as evergreen clippings, string, old bells or metallic items, dried fruits or plants, simple tags and cutouts and more. I wanted to share a bit of what I like to do.
Simple items like twine and dried oranges can be really quite beautiful.
Simple Christmas gift wrapping ideas:
The first thing I want to talk about are my dried oranges. I made these dried oranges last year and used them all over my house, and especially on my tree. I decided to try to store them after Christmas by putting them in a basket and stowed them away in a box in the garage. Believe it or not, they held up wonderfully and I am able to use them this year!
My Christmas gifts would be a great place to use them, since they were free, look so pretty and have that Scandi feel I was looking for.
I love using a simple ball of white twine. There is a ball of twine in about three different drawers in my home and use it for just about everything! It especially came in handy when I was wrapping some of my gifts.
Something else I like to use is custom made gift tags or simple decorating tags. I created some really cute ones that you can use too!
You get all three sheets of gift tags. They are super cute and all you have to do is cut them out!

Now lets talk about the other fun items I like to use in my Christmas gift wrapping. I love using pieces of greenery. Whether I get it from clippings from our Christmas tree or I am able to snag a couple faux pieces, they look so pretty on a Christmas gift. And they are being repurposed. I love using the extra pieces from our Christmas tree around our house.
How cute do they look all combined?
The last item I like to add is something whimsical. I had some really cute metal bells that I thought would be fun to add.
There are so many different ways you can combine items to create something truly unique and true to your aesthetic. This certainly is mine.
Tis the season after all.
You can also have your kids make snowflakes and use those on your gifts! Gosh there are so many ways to create something magical!
I hope you enjoy these! Now, if you are looking for some other stylish Christmas gift wrapping ideas, check out my friends below!
