Sweet Valentines Cupcake Ideas

This morning I shared some really sweet cupcake toppers with you, using my Cricut Maker, and now I want to share another simple set of cupcake toppers as well as simple, classic valentines cupcake ideas.

Yes, I am not a big fan of Valentines, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t like to create. The thing I fight with on Valentines is the colors and the style of just about everything involved. So, I set out to make some cute Valentines cupcakes in my own style. Something classic, with a touch of sweet pink, but overall simple, neutral and fitting of what I like to see for Valentines.

With a soft pink cream cheese frosting, the use of a cream cupcake wrapper(which you can make here), and the usage of some of my Valentines cupcake toppers (which I made with my Cricut machine), I have found a way to celebrate the holiday while in my own style. No bright reds, busy patterns, or over the top designs. I am keeping it simple and classic.

I created these cupcake toppers to be sweet and simple. I used brown kraft board to create them. They go so nicely with the soft pink frosting and cream cupcake toppers. You can click here to cut out your own cupcake toppers!

Arent these Valentines cupcakes sweet? My kids loved them! When they come home from school and these are waiting for them, it changes the whole day! Now, don’t get me wrong, this is not our normal routine. I am not that mom. Sometimes I have a sweet treat for them, but for the most part, they have to fend for themselves when they get home.

I just wanted to share these with you as inspiration! I know there are so many different ideas and ways that you can create Valentines cupcakes, and if I had enough time I would share them all with you! But, these are super sweet and super simple. They take your Valentines day up a notch with just a coupe little additions.
