Incredibly Easy Sourdough Focaccia Bread

Today I am sharing my newest recipe, sourdough focaccia! This has become my kids most favorite bread of all time.

Ingredients

Sourdough Starter | Water Honey | Salt | Bread Flour Olive Oil | Toppings

Take the sourdough starter and water and mix them in a bowl. Add your honey, salt and bread flour. Mix until combined.

Cover the bowl with a towel and let sit for about 30 minutes. Then start your first knead. Let it sit at room temperature to ferment.

In the morning, oil the counter and drop the dough onto your countertop. Gently spread and fold the dough. Then oil a cake pan with olive oil.

Transfer dough to the sheet pan. Cover the pan and let the dough rise once again. Then spread olive oil over the dough.

Begin pressing the dough creating creators for the oil. Then add toppings. Place in oven and bake for  20-25 minutes. Let it cool on a wire rack.

And it's done! Enjoy this bread with soups, make it into deep dish pizzas, with pastas, with balsamic/ olive oil dip or toasted with butter!
