Easy DIY Garden Markers Using My Cricut

Today I want to share how I made some super stylish and adorable garden markers using my Cricut Maker, some aluminum sheet metal, and their engraving tool.

What you need

– Cricut Maker – Engraving Tool – Aluminum Sheets – Black Paint – 1 by 2 Wood Board – Flat Wood Board – Brad Nailer – Upholstery Tacks

For Cricut, you create a design by using Design Space. You can make your own or use mine! You then place the aluminum sheet on the Cricut mat and tape it.

Create a Design

Start the engraving and let the Cricut do its thing! You'll then want to brush on a bit of black paint to darken the engraving.

Engrave the Aluminum

I cut two pieces of wood and painted them. I then nailed them together. I drilled little holes in the corners of the aluminum and secured it with upholstery tacks.

Create the Sign

Aren’t they cute? I'm so excited about my new garden markers! Now my plants look even better with their own custom plant markers!
