Ghost DIY Halloween Door Wreath Using Dollar Store Items

Lets take a break for something fun! Lets make a ghost DIY Halloween door wreath using items straight from the dollar store. Keep scrolling to see how I made this incredibly affordable Halloween wreath!

This halloween door wreath was super easy to make and cost me almost nothing to make!

I was strolling through the aisles at the Dollar Tree in our area and found these 36 inch long sheet ghosts for $1.25! It has a styrofoam face underneath to ad some shape too.

I grabbed two of these with the idea of making something with them, and as I brainstormed in my craft room, I quickly came up with a fun new DIY wreath that took literally 5 minutes to put together!

I wanted to make sure I could reuse my wreath form so I did not hot glue the ghost onto it. There was a loop at the top of the ghost so you could hang it, so I threaded that through the grapevine wreath and tied it off with some twine around the backside of the wreath.

You can see how did it in the picture above. I then took the sides of the ghost(there is a wire covered in foam that you can shape for the arms) and I used the clothespins to secure them to the back of the wreath as well.

I wanted the ghost to look like it was reaching, kind of peeking though the wreath trying to get out.

I let the extra fabric hang, so that it looked like Mr Ghost was just chilling on the wreath. He looks so cute on my front door. I can’t wait for the trick or treaters to come and visit Mr Ghost.

I dont usually add a ton of Halloween decor to my home, but I love adding some outdoor Halloween decorations. I especially love making DIY Halloween wreaths that are affordable and accessible for everyone!
