Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls
Today I want to share a quick and easy snack that my kids love! I make it on fun occasions like the super bowl or even just as an afternoon snack. These sausage cream cheese crescent rolls are easy to make, and they taste amazing too!
I feel like I share a lot of homemade recipes, some a bit more involved than others. But, I dont always make everything from scratch. I think it is important too have a balance. Sometimes quick and easy meals and snacks are our lifeline.

How to make these sausage and cream cheese crescent rolls:
Cook your breakfast sausage in a skillet until browns and crumbly. I like to use Jimmy Dean sausage. Once cooked drain off excess fat.
Sausage and Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 can premade crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 package breakfast sausage spicy or regular (we like spicy)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp fresh sage and rosemary optional
Instructions
- Cook your breakfast sausage in a skillet until browns and crumbly. I like to use Jimmy Dean sausage. Once cooked drain off excess fat.
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Unwrap your crescent roll dough and create a 9 by 13 sized sheet of dough by crimping the perforations back together. Often you can find the dough un actual sheets instead of being precut.
- In a medium/large bowl add the softened cream cheese, cooked sausage, herbs and garlic powder and mix all together until well combined. You can use a hand mixer if you need to.
- Spread the cream cheese and sausage mixture over the entire sheet of crescent dough. Once it is evenly spread, roll up the dough like you would for cinnamon rolls.
- With a sharp knife or by using some thread, cut 1/2-1 inch rolls.
- Place them on a prepared baking sheet. Once they are all on the sheet, bake in the oven for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for about 5-10 minutes before eating. Letting them sit a bit longer is better. Best served warm.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. You can reheat in an airfryer if needed.

These are kid approved too! Kids love these sausage and cream cheese crescent rolls. I find them to be so easy to make. You can keep breakfast sausage in the freezer to always have on hand. You can also pre-cook it and freeze it that way so that you can pull it out at a moments notice.
These taste great warm or at room temperature, which makes them a nice snack to bring to a get together.
