Homemade Brown Sugar Coffee Creamer
Okay, so I am actually not a coffee drinker. But, I drink something similar everyday. I drink Crio Bru which is a roasted cocoa beans drink that I brew in a French press and drink just like you would coffee. It is a great coffee alternative. It contains theobromine which is a natural stimulant that gives you more energy without the crash from caffeine. It is 99 percent caffeine free. It has tons of antioxidants and the taste is really amazing. I often use pure maple syrup and cream in my Crio Bru but recently I have been experimenting and creating creamers that are premade and homemade. This homemade brown sugar coffee creamer is one of my absolute favorites and it is good in so many drinks, not just coffee!
My kids like to use it in their iced Matcha drinks and I love it in my Crio Bru. You could, of course, use it in coffee. It is the perfect amount of sweetness, and the creaminess of the heavy cream is perfect too.
I love this creamer because it is simple, using a couple of ingredients. I know what is in it, and there are no additives. I prefer this in everything I eat. But let’s be real, it is hard to have that all the time, so I focus on the simple things that I can. This brown sugar coffee creamer is just one that I can do.
With the subtle hints of brown sugar and cinnamon this homemade brown sugar coffee creamer is just the right thing to add to your hot drink. The recipe is super easy. You can whip up a batch of this and store it in mason jars in the fridge.
Just a few ingredients
I love to enjoy my drink with this creamer along side my favorite banana oatmeal pancakes with chocolate chips. There are so many great ways to enjoy this, and its always accompanied with my breakfast. I also love it when I eat my sourdough toast with microgreens avocado and hot honey.
