Easy Cranberry Fluff Salad With Marshmallows and Pineapple
A couple of years ago I experimented with this cranberry fluff salad for Thanksgiving and it was such a big hit and every time I make it, people go crazy for it. That being said, I did not come up with this salad but have altered a few ingredients to make it more of what my family loves.
This cranberry fluff salad is a super easy side dish to make for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Its a great way to use those fresh cranberries in the produce aisle that are only available at this time of year.
I think cranberries are incredibly flavorful. The tartness of the berries is mellowed out by the pineapple and sugar. It allows the cranberries to shine in this dish. The accompaniment of marshmallows and pineapple make this the perfect Thanksgiving side.
Using a simple food processor you can create this amazing cranberry fluff! A fod processor is a great investment in your kitchen!

Cranberry Fluff Salad
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 20 oz can crushed pineapple
- 10 oz bag of mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 16 oz tub cool whip topping or whipped topping
Instructions
- In a food processor, chop your cranberries into small minced pieces.
- Add them to a large bowl, along with the sugar and pineapple. Stir to combine.
- Let this sit for at least 30 minutes in the fridge. This will help the sugars be absorbed by the cranberries. You can let it chill overnight if you want. Make sure you keep it in the fridge.
- You will notice the pineapple and cranberries created a bit of juice, you can drain this. Once you are ready to eat the salad, add the marshmallows and cool whip or whipped topping into the cranberry mixture and fold the ingredients all together.
- Once everything is mixed together, serve and enjoy!
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in fridge for up to 3-4 days.
Nutrition
The sweetness from the pineapples and sugar are absorbed by the pulsed cranberries. This isn’t necessarily considered a dessert but it is a sweet and fresh treat.
The flavors of this cranberry fluff recipe is so refreshing, sweet and a bit tart. its a great balance.

If you prefer not to use cool whip you can make whip cream using heavy whipping cream. You will want to whip until you have stiff peaks. I do find that the cool whip holds up better, but you can definitely use homemade whipped cream.
