The big thing about this salad is that it is so easy to make, but you want to make it right before you are ready to serve or take to a party. We all know once you mix up slices strawberries or bananas the timer is set.
This strawberry cheesecake salad can be made with additional different fruits as well. We love to add blueberries to the mixture, and even pineapple is a hit. We always add it in addition to the strawberries. There are endless possibilities. This salad makes the perfect delicious side to go with your burgers or grilled chicken.
Do you want to know how easy it is to make? Follow these simple instructions:
First, you want to prep your fresh strawberries by washing them, coring them and quartering them. I do not like to slice the strawberries. By quartering them, you have more of a bite of strawberries when eating thee salad and they hold up better.
Once the strawberries are ready, you need to grab a large bowl and add 2- 8 oz strawberry yogurt containers and the cheesecake flavored instant pudding mix. Stir to combine these two ingredients The dry pudding mix will thicken the yogurt as it sits. After it is mixed well fold in a regular size tub of cool whip.
Once this is done, you will add your strawberries, 2 sliced bananas, and about half of a bag of miniature marshmallows. Stir it gently until it is all combined. If you feel that the salad could use more fruit or marshmallows, you can add additional fruit until the ratio of creamy cheesecake pudding and fruit is to your preference.
This mixture of strawberries, bananas, and the creamy cheesecake filling makes the perfect salad. The marshmallows make it even better!
It is light and sweet and always a huge hit when it shows up at a party. The total time it takes to make this yummy strawberry banana cheesecake salad is about 15 minutes.
These easy recipes are the best thing to make on busy or hot summer days. Try making it for your next party, it is sure to be a hit!
