Holiday Home Decor Hacks to Make Your Life Easier
*This post about holiday home decor is sponsored by Walmart. I do not support or endorse and company I truly believe in. I am grateful for their support.*
Often times, we get caught up in making sure everything is perfect in our homes before the big day arrives. Christmas, that is. I will include myself in that category. I am guilt of stressing myself out over the littlest things. But over the years I have found certain things that help me to add holiday home decor to my spaces without stressing out. I also want a space that is inviting to guests and visitors. I want to share my tips to making it all cine together affordably as well as stylish!
There are some little hacks that make it even easier to add those season items, even twinkle lights, centerpieces and more! Lets see some of these easy holiday home decor hacks and how they make my life easier during the holidays. I am shopping one of my favorites, Walmart, for their amazing prices and wide variety of products of holiday home decor.
It is inevitable that we will have some guests at our home during the Christmas holiday. I want my home to be inviting and exude that holiday cheer and coziness for them. I like to focus on adding Christmas decor to my guest bedroom as well as all the other spaces in my home.
Now that my guest bedroom has been taken up by one of my sons, it still serves as a guest room occasionally. He has gotten really great at keeping his room clean and organized, and that is really great.

I try really hard to keep the same decor consistent all year round, and simply add a couple items to my decor for the holiday season.
Lets talk about some of these holiday home decor ideas:
Pillows/Throws: One of the easiest ways to add quick holiday decor to your home is by using pillows, or pillow covers! You can easily trade out your pillows or pillow covers for something more festive. I tend to keep my pillows neutral on my living room couches, but I love adding a pop of color and texture to my bedrooms.
I used this gorgeous set of plaid pillows in my sons room. They are affordable, cozy, and stylish.
Wall Art: Simple wall art is another great way to add holiday decor to your spaces by simply trading out one piece or art for another. You can even add a new piece to a space you might not have thought of. We added this adorable Nutcracker print to my sons bedroom as well. I love the vintage look of this print from Walmart.
Candlesticks: Adding candlesticks to a table, or shelf instantly adds a coy look that is so indicative of a holiday home. I love adding a set of candlesticks to my dining space. We love having candle lit dinners as a family during the holidays.
Speaking of dining lets talk about easy centerpiece ideas for the holidays:
Simple Centerpiece Ideas: It is easy to create a simple centerpiece for the holidays that wont break the bank! I love using candles in my centerpieces and often times they are the only thing! I added some simple touches to these gorgeous candles with dried orange slices, some bleached pines cones and this cute little reindeer I got at Walmart. Having a nice set of silverware and dinnerware is such a luxury to me. I am used to plastic everything having 4 little kids. Its only recently that we have been able to feel confident using real ceramic plates! I love these black plates with gold trim. They add a bit of a moody feel. I paired them with my favorite gold silverware from Walmart as well.
The glasses are also from Walmart and are so sweet and the perfect accent to our table. The kids love drinking out of fancy glasses. Since these are so affordable, I don’t panic when they use them!
Natural Elements: As you saw in my dining centerpiece I love using natural elements such as dried orange slices and pine cones. I also love using fresh garland and fresh fruits in my decor.
Mini Faux Christmas Trees: I think we can all agree that any size Christmas tree is acceptable, but man those mini trees are so adorable and they are perfect for bedrooms, tabletops, and in small spaces. I love adding one to each of my kids rooms. This is the one we used in my sons bedroom. It is prelit and flocked!
Affordable Tree Ornaments: I like to change out the decor on my tree often and find Walmart to have affordable ornament options perfect for my budget and need. They also have the most adorable wood bead tree strands. I love the way they look on my tree this year.
Cozy Bedding:
I love adding cozy bedding, as I did in my kids bedroom. I love the plaid sheets in my sons bedroom!
