Quick Flower Spring Wreath
Yesterday I featured my new front door color, Sand Trap from True Value. Today I am bringing you a quick flower spring wreath you can make in mere minutes to dress up that beautiful new door.
I have been toying with a few different ideas for a wreath for my front door this spring. I really wanted something clean, classic, and fresh.
About 2 weeks ago, I pulled out my spring flowers to add a touch of light to my dull winter mood. As I thought about the wreath I wanted, I quickly decided that I wanted to use some of my faux flowers. Faux flowers are so fantastic sometimes. I say sometimes, because I think you need to know when enough is enough. Some simple white faux flowers can really brighten up a room, but 5 vases filled as well as lining your cabinets with them is a bit much for me. I decided to give my flowers a try as a flower spring wreath.
How to make a quick flower spring wreath:
You care going to laugh when you see how easy this was. All you need is:
- fake flowers
- twine
- I gathered the flowers I wanted to use and arranged them the way I wanted them to hang on the door. I made two rows of flowers. Staggering them adds balance and volume to the bouquet.
- Next, I took my twine, tied it around the stems of the flowers and began wrapping it around until it covered the stems completely.
- I then tied off the twine.
All done.
I am not lying. That was all there was to it. I hung it on my wreath hanger. I am currently thinking of a better way to hang it o that you don’t have to see the hanger. I have never loved having a piece of metal hanging down the front of my door.
What do you think? Its light and airy, don’t you think? It is perfectly imperfect. Man, I love that kind of thing.
I am so glad I did this. Making a quick flower spring wreath is a great way to dress up your front door for spring. Try it out for yourself.

I love the whole look. You said you didn’t like the metal hanger. Honestly, I didn’t notice -had to go back to look. It is a good color-natural. First time on your blog, but not the last. Where did you get that gorgeous door?
Thank you Ana! I purchased my door at Stock Building Supply. I’m mot sure if you will have that in your area.
Looks great Sara and like Ana said above me, I wouldn’t worry about the metal hanger it looks good to me!
Thanks Emmy!
