Swoon Worthy Greenhouse Designs to DIY or Buy
I have recently been working on something really exciting in my backyard. We are building a greenhouse! I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. I have spent hours and hours searching and making sure I create just what would work for us, including making it work stylistically as well. Of course the style was just as important as the function here! So today I wanted to share some of the greenhouse designs that helped inspire what I finally ended up using for my own greenhouse.
There are so many different greenhouse designs out there to build yourself as well as those to outright purchase and have the kit shipped right to your home!
So, I wanted to share a bit of each. There are so many great DIY greenhouse ideas out there, and I truly love the ones made from old windows. If I had a large collection of them, I would most definitely have used them! However, with out budget, it would have cost too much to buy new windows right now.
Each one of these greenhouse designs has some great characteristics and features that I loved and so I thought it would be great to share in case you are looking for some greenhouse design inspiration.
You can spend a little, or a lot depending on what your budget is, and you can make a greenhouse strictly functional and also be a glamorous space that people can enjoy!
We decided to go small on ours because we aren’t planning to do a large scale amount of gardening and I wanted something manageable, but gosh am I loving these larger, amazing greenhouses too!
So, lets have a look at some gorgeous greenhouse designs:
First off, I wanted to share this adorable greenhouse using old windows. I would have loved to have gone this large, but we need to be sensible sometimes, you know?
This greenhouse by Under A Tin Roof is so amazing! I love the windows and feel like I would spend hours in here.
Honestly, this was potting shed/ greenhouse by Nitty Gritty Dirt Man was the very first inspiration picture I found, and we almost built one just like this, but for reasons I am not really sure, we did not!

This large greenhouse byVaughan House is what dreams are made of! I am totally and utterly obsessed with this whole situation.

I love these sheds. If I own one, I would turn it into a she shed. A place where I read or do what I want to without the boys, in peace and quiet.
