Easy and Inexpensive Tabletop Tree Décor Hack

Whether you are decorating small spaces, or just want to add a mini Christmas tree to your homes holiday décor, there are tons of options and I want to share how to change them up with one simple item.

I love using small Christmas trees for my coffee table, on my shelves, on my mantel, or as a centerpiece. This specific tree I got from IKEA.

Little Versatile Trees

Sometimes these simple trees can look quite generic with their plastic bases. While they are the cutest little trees, and the bases are pretty great, I wanted something more organic.

Fix the Generic Base

The first step was to open the brown paper sack. I wanted the bag to have a more worn look so I rolled the top down twice to create a hem at the top.

Use a Paper Sack

I then put the small tree in the bag and adjusted it to where I wanted it to be. Next, I smoothed out the creases and added wrinkles to give it a more worn look.

Place the Tree Inside

This was one of the easiest and most inexpensive décor hacks I've ever done and I hope this give you inspiration for your own home! Check out my website for more fun décor and DIYs!
